The Wickham Arms is one of the oldest public houses in South East London.

In 1700 coaching houses were renowned for traditional ales, none more so than the Old Wickham Arms.

John Courage acquired the inn around 1853 and has kept the tradition of fine ales ever since.

Public houses are changing, customers demands have changed and in the 21st century pubs need to meet the requirements of new laws. But many lose that essential rapport with the customer in the process.

The Wickham Arms is proud to retain the traditional quality of service which had made it a byword locally over the years whilst improving the facilities for patrons, old and new.
